***WE WILL NOT BE SHIPPING CHEESE OUTSIDE OF NYS THIS SEASON DUE TO THE UNCERTAINTY/UNPREDICTABILITY OF SHIPPING IN THE US AT THIS TIME!  We DO HAVE gift certificates available and will gladly mail those! We are currently fully stocked with fresh cheese and gelato at the house and farm.  We will have more beef available by the end of February! Please call if interested in a 1/2 or 1/4 beef.

COVID 19 UPDATE - We are continuing to make cheese every Thursday.  Please call ahead for curbside pickup if desired, or visit the creamery and follow the protocol as advised by NYS Ag & Markets and the CDC. Stay well!

We make fresh cheese curd EVERY Thursday year round! It is usually ready by 5pm!  We also offer grass-fed ground beef at the house and the farm (Approximately 1lb. packages - $5 each)!  Please call for steaks, roasts or briskets.  Our gelatería is fully stocked - we currently make vanilla, blackberry, coffee, mint, mango, and maple as our main flavors.  Check facebook each week for our specialty gelato flavors...

Welcome to Bechaz Dairy/Bechaz Riverdale Cheese!  We are a 4th generation dairy farm that produces fresh, homemade, artisan cheese curd from our 70 holstein/jersey milking herd.  Our only ingredients are fresh whole milk pumped right from the herd into the cheese vat, natural cultures and a little bit of salt.  We also offer flavored curds such as Garlic/Chive, Ay Chihuahua Chipotle, Mustard Dill, Onion Pepper and various flavors of the month!  We are now making several brick cheeses!  We have a Swedish Bondost which is a semi-soft aged farmer's cheese with fennel flavoring!  One of our unique additions is our "wine cheese"!  We are making a brick cheese which is aged in a wine brine.  We currently have cheeses made with Razzle Dazzle or Blackberry Bliss from Coyote Moon Winery and St. Lawrence Red or North Country Red from TI Winery.  We also offer a mildly aged cheese which is a hard pressed cheese with a smooth, delicious flavor! In addition to our Swedish Bondost (a semi-soft aged farmer's cheese with fennel flavoring!), we make a Garlic/Dill brick cheese, an Italian and a peppercorn brick. We are proud to offer our cheese fresh from the 1000 Islands in Clayton, NY, where you can see our herd grazing in the pastures overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence River!  Our milking herd is grass fed!  We do NOT use any artificial growth hormones with our dairy herd!  We also offer grass-fed beef.  Ground beef is available for purchase in the freezer.  Please contact us to inquire about steaks and roasts.

Our latest addition to our creamery is our artisan gelato!!!  We are proud to offer homemade artisan gelato using our very own whole milk!  Stop by and try some soon!!! - available only at the house and farm!

Coal Docks, Cape Brewery, the Crescent and Downtown Wine Lounge, Fins Restaurant are open for take out or dine in with our cheese curd available for poutines, fried cheese curd, etc. 

Our gelato can be enjoyed at the St. Lawrence Spirits Chateau in Clayton and the Downtown Lounge or Empire Square in Watertown.

Thank you to our summer businesses for a great 2021 season! We look forward to spring 2022 when other fine restaurants and stores will reopen again - hopefully Covid-free! Many fine restaurants in the area carried our cheese for their fried cheese curd, poutine, cheese platters and other fine dishes over this last summer!  Thank you for your continued support and wishing you a safe winter! Please ask for us once open again at...The CWay Restaurant, Tricia's Rondette, Bella's, and Channelside in Clayton.
